Our way of viewing Basque aims to unite, not divide.

Here at the Basque Language Interpretation Centre, we want to build a world made up of lots of small worlds.

Because being small isn’t bad, it doesn’t mean we are weak. To be small is to be full of life and energy; despite being small you can still help change the world.

Basque is a small language, but it has the same value as those that are spoken more widely. All languages are beautiful and all are important.

This centre is also small in size. But at the same time it is huge, because many people and entities have helped and continue to help it work in favour of Basque.

This is our slogan: Basque unites, it does not divide. Accumulating new identities, people and cultures along the way.

‘Eskerrik asko’, ‘thank you very much’ for visiting Euskararen Etxea, the House of the Basque Language.

‘Agur eta laster arte’. Goodbye for now, and we hope to see you again soon!
