6. The three sound hoods
There are three hoods in the room, each a different colour.
The sounds made by these hoods give us clues about the issues on which they focus, since each one deals with a theme that is important for the Basque language.
● One focuses on diversity, or in other words, different ways of speaking Basque.
● The second focuses on the transmission of the language, in the family environment, at home, at school, etc.
● And the last one focuses on community and empathy, urging us to put ourselves in other people’s shoes. It also talks about the energy that Basque injects into society.
Touch the screen to activate each video. Once you have finished, move back towards the ‘Diversity’ hood. There you will find the entrance to the next space, which is called ‘Basque, a language that joins rather than divides’.
